Solution: Clear and redraw when changing related options. Right aligh the

Problem: Alloc() returning "char_u *" causes a lot of type casts.
Solution: Have it return "void *". (Mike Williams) Define ALLOC_ONE() to
check the simple allocations.
Problem: Using "int" for alloc() often results in compiler warnings.
Solution: Use "size_t" and remove type casts. Remove alloc_check(), Vim
only works with 32 bit ints anyway.
Problem: Using expressions in a modeline is unsafe.
Solution: Disallow using expressions in a modeline, unless the
'modelineexpr' option is set. Update help, add more tests.
Problem: Borland support is outdated and doesn't work.
Solution: Remove Borland support, there are other (free) compilers

Solution: Show "3/44" when using the "n" command and "S" is not in

Problem: Setting 'filetype' in a modeline causes an error (Hirohito
Higashi).
Solution: Don't add the P_INSECURE flag when setting 'filetype' from a
modeline. Also for 'syntax'.
Problem: shiftwidth() does not take 'vartabstop' into account.
Solution: Use the cursor position or a position explicitly passed.
Also make >> and << work better with 'vartabstop'. (Christian
