patch 8.2.1747: result of expand() unexpectedly depends on 'completeslash'

Problem:    Result of expand() unexpectedly depends on 'completeslash'.
Solution:   Temporarily reset 'completeslash'. (Yasuhiro Matsumoto,
            closes #7021)
