patch 8.0.1806: InsertCharPre causes problems for autocomplete

Problem:    InsertCharPre causes problems for autocomplete. (Lifepillar)
Solution:   Check for InsertCharPre before calling vpeekc(). (Christian
            Brabandt, closes #2876)
