patch 8.0.1357: startup test fails on OpenBSD

Problem:    Startup test fails on OpenBSD. (Edd Barrett)
Solution:   Check for "BSD" instead of "FreeBSD" being defined. (James McCoy,
            closes #2376, closes #2378)
